I suspect that economics has ruined his game. I can just see the good prof hunched over the board, working out the application of the Coase Theorem to the situation at hand ….

Either that or the good Doctor would be trying to figure out how to apply some Schumpeter type creative destruction via a knight sacrifice against his opponent’s position!
