Fashion of the Future

The fashion of Hussein Chalayan is utterly impractical, very beautiful and tremendously innovative.  Watch the video and be prepared to be blown away.  If you must, skip the first quarter but be sure to watch to the end.  Oh yeah, not quite SFW.

Not all of the designs are impractical, but they are really creative (although not necessarily innovative) and some are stunnningly beautiful. Obviously, these are not every-day-clothes :)

I have a different question, do you know why the models never smile? Don’t they like the clothes they wear?
Or should the missing smile bring attention to the clothes, because otherrwise it would distract too much?

However, I am a bit surprised and shocked by the choice of sound and music, for it is certainly not a tasteful pick.

Similar in spirit, Kenzo in Beijing (http://www.kenzo.com/index_mode.htm). The background music The background music was excellent. I was blown away.
