Some folks from MS are being up-front about the precursors, but some others are pumping the PR on the thing as if it were tabula rosa.

Neat stuff, but a little funny on the intellectual property side, because it isn’t always who has the best idea as who has the time and money to play with prototypes. I used to call them “new territory” patents.
As odograph mentions, I find it rather annoying how MS is touting this as some sort of breakthrough.
