Mercedes scoffs at such notions. "It is really, really difficult to harm a horse with massage, especially if all you’re using is your hands."
Here is the story and that is from The Washington Post. Apparently it is legal to give a human a massage in Maryland, and legal to shoe a horse in Maryland, but not legal to give a horse a massage in Maryland unless you own that horse. And there is no way to get the appropriate license. The Institute for Justice is taking up the case.

Just for symmetry: Is it legal to shoe a person in Maryland?
It’s hard for humans to hurt horses with their hands, but it’s child’s play for Vulcans like Mr. Spock. Also King Midas.
The legislature fears that bestial perverts will corrupt the horses with their “massages.”
File it under “animal husbandry”. My brother in law used to “massage” stallions for a living and it is all perfectly legal. He wasn’t even considred guilty of prostitution.
it is not a bad story
you will find more funny thing
