Cafe Hayek #3? A great resource if you like learning about why you’re made of evil and fail if you support government intervention in anything at all!
That list is bizarre.
Barkley, Calculated Risk is on the list. It’s the last blog mentioned in the business section.
US,
Oh, OK. Thanks for correcting my mistake.
does anyone really buy any of these economic indicators as leading indicators? i don’t. any positive correlations are surely retrospective, due to data mining etc.
Had to get to number 9 before I found one I read regularly. Though there may be some in between 1 and 8 that demand attention in the future. Doubt I would read Econlog or Cafe Hayek.
I wonder what the minimum number of econoblogs one must subscribe to in order to get 95% of total content via links and original commentary. I RSS perhaps 15-20 and the overlap is high but not complete (e.g., Epicurean Dealmaker rarely overlaps Brad DeLong, but Brad DeLong often overlaps Paul Krugman).
Also, they missed the very valuable Felix Salmon
I recently participated in a couple of comment threads at Cafe Hayek. The difference in the attitude and civility of participants there vs. here (or any other econoblog I frequent including McArdle) is stark.
Re: #5 Beds for men:
IMHO, anybody who spends $30,000 for a “man cave” in the form of a bed is someone without much imagination. And way more money than judgment (MMTJ).
