Thousands of travellers are stranded throughout Europe as ash continues to rain down from an erupting volcano in Iceland this week. Among them is Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, whose press secretary reports the official to be “running the Norwegian government from the United States via his new iPad.”
The story is here and for the link I thank vANNilla. Israel, however, has banned all imports of the iPad, for reasons I don't yet understand. They are even confiscating iPads from travelers.

Some sort of IP dispute?
Israel is worried that the iPad will hog all available wifi bandwidth. With enough iPads, you could bring their networks to their knees.
Not that anyone in that part of the world would do anything like that intentionally.
Dearieme wins the thread!
I hear I Pad uses a bandwith reserved for the military…
I wish Apple would cut the annoying iPad ads on TV. Nobody these days is wowed by visions of changing their life via a gadget.
Nobody except Tyler, who is enthralled with the iPad.
Because the Norwegian PM has little to do, in fact knowing the Norwegian Labour party, the country would probably be better off if he just stayed in NY.
Now if he was head of Statoil, I don’t think it would be workable.
Norwegian culture is closely linked to the country’s history and geography. Its culture blossomed as efforts continued to achieve an independent identity in the areas of literature, art and music. Norway is basically situated on the western side of the Scandinavian peninsula, which it shares with its eastern neighbor, Sweden. I like its culture.
