1. Great Stagnation reviews from Brink Lindsey, Mutual Information, and Pegobry, and more Reihan.

2. Whoops!  The flight from specificity.  How far can it go?

The flight from specificity. How far can it go?

Considering that it's probably still an electoral winner to fight any "cuts" in Social Security, and that the President made it clear in the SOTU that he has no interest in any entitlement compromise, and that he's more than willing to make it a political issue, I'd say that it can go pretty far.

Wow, what a coincidence that all these influential bloggers are simultaneously deciding to pay for your book and then give it positive reviews! I'd almost say this was engineered somehow!

#2: I'd say it can get to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

#2 No surprise the republicans like the Democrats know that the median voter rules and the median voter wants SS.

I can understand the math of adjusting for the average family size, but I question the reality of that adjustment.

If you have a family of four they are paying to live in one house. But if you have two families of two they would have to pay to live in two houses. This implies that smaller families actually means each family has to spend more for shelter– and probably many other standard purchases –so the adjustment for a smaller family should actually move in the opposite direction of the math adjustment caveat
bettor suggest.

Also, the category was wrong; it said fiction.

Identify which word should be changed.

Spencer, each FAMILY does not spend more for shelter… but each person might (though probably not- smaller families live in smaller houses).

#2: As far as it needs to in order to make the most people think that politicians will do what they want.
