Justa, I don't see anywhere that TC claims that there are no high education workers that are ZMP.
I concur with several other posters that you are pushing this marginal productivity thing harder than the idea currently warrants. More and better data, please.
I'm also a bit relieved that I'm not the only one geeky enough to notice Goldacre's inaccurate "phenomena."
Graduate from top50 school in U.S. with degree in economics. Must have been labeled as a zero marginal productivity worker for last 6 months, along with many friends in useful degrees.
MBA placement rates are at like 80% in the top 30 programs, but I guess these are Zero MP people too.
I think Tyler should take a better look at the unemployment market.
