Details here, and that is big news too; update here.  Here is The New Yorker on Bob Barr.  Kramnik just blew a superior position and now is probably doomed in the match with Anand.

kramnik blew an even position …. Anand was brilliant throughout and Kramnik perhaps cracked under time pressure. fascinating match …. both brilliant

I think no one anticipated that Anand would cause Kramnik to crack this early. But to his credit, Vishy has been playing consistently and quickly (backed by extremely good opening prep) which would put anyone under pressure in a complicated position with little time on the clock.

It was really a bad decision for Kramnik to go into the same line again. He has had three or four days to look at the positions whereas Anand has probably been preparing this particular line for months.
