You have seen toy story 3, haven’t you?
It’s a fine movie. It was filmed in Missouri and received the benefit of Missouri’s 35% tax credit program, as did “Up in the Air.” I’ve discussed some aspects of it on my blog, Ozarks Law & Economy.
The book is really good. Quick read.

I wonder, *why* was Winter’s Bone so good. What circumstances must come together to produce a surprise Oscar nominee? Or is it all just random?
