Thomas McCraw passes away at 72

I loved his Schumpeter biography, and he had a long and distinguished career as an economic and business historian at Harvard. Here are previous MR posts on McCraw. Here is an obituary.

I enjoyed reading “Creating Modern Capitalism: How Entrepreneurs, Companies, and Countries Triumphed in Three Industrial Revolutions”. It lacked a real framework to tie things together but was an entertaining and interesting read anyway.
