China now exports every six hours as much as it did in the whole of 1978

That is from The Browser, and bluegod, on Twitter.

You should highlight the failure of self-sufficiency in the world’s largest country. That’s China’s greatest lesson.

My money is on China for overtaking the U.S. within a few years. Their low costs of living and high rate of growth is making a mockery of democratic liberalism.

Imagine the Super Bowl where the winning field goal splits the uprights and the referee rules no good and gives no explanation. That would be a bizarre game and would not fly in the US of A.

“My money is on China for overtaking the U.S. within a few years.”

You obviously didn’t watch Superbowl XL… Seahawks vs the Stealers. All I can say is that it’s mighty hard to make an ‘illegal block’ on a player who’s got the football in his hands.

I suspect that the drama queens do their flopping because there aren’t enough refs and they have to get their attention. So, for the World Effing Cup, they should do what is required to get this right. Then no make-up calls, thus fewer games decided by incompetence. And if competence, integrity and propriety doesn’t motivate those people then they should think of the additional money.
