How to save commercials

Mark Cuban says make them live performances, for a new kind of reality TV:

…those are commercials that would keep peoples attention.  You would never know exactly what would
happen. 30 seconds of fun.  Bring back the 50s to TV.

It is a good old idea. A live commercial with an improv feel to it might be worth my time to watch.

Wonderful idea. I'm just old enough to remember Betty Furness being unable to open a Frigidaire refrigerator door, John Cameron Swayze losing his Timex Watch off an outboard motor in a vat of water, and Sonny Fox talking about peanuts as an elephant ripped off his jacket (in the pockets of which he had placed peanuts). Bring back the authentic TV of the Fifties!
